Anya Tideman
Student and Project Lead Anya Tydeman led her team of Esports students from the University of Northampton to surpass their fundraising goal for Oxford-based charity SpecialEffect, raising £2,029—more than double their £1,000 target. Over two days, 30+ students hosted gaming events featuring titles like Mario Kart, League of Legends, and Valorant, while Creative Media students livestreamed the event. The funds will provide 80 eye-gaze kits or 134 adapted one-handed controllers, helping gamers with life-changing disabilities access technology and gaming.

Ebby Tanimola
Ebby's journey through the first Esports BSc cohort at the University of Northampton was a unique and exciting experience. In this showcase, she shares her insights on obtaining a research assistant role and a graduate job. Her story is a testament to her hard work and enthusiasm. We hope that her story inspires current and future esports students.
