Thank you to everyone who took part in the 2025 "Game Changer" University video competition.
1st place is awarded to Chenxi Hu from Macau University of Science and Technology. We were very impressed by the quality of the initiatives suggested in this video. He demonstrated exceptional storytelling, research, and advocacy, inspiring meaningful conversations and driving positive change in the gaming community. This work stands as a testament to the power of media in promoting inclusivity and equality.
The competition's runner up was Nanxun Zhang, also studying at Macau Univeristy of Science and Technology. This exceptional submission was a close second. Nanxun's unique approach of using interviews to capture lived experiences provided a power perspective on the gender (in)equality within the esports industry.
